CHURCH UPDATE ON THE CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19)
Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church
The past few weeks have been difficult for many of our members and our nation. The unprecedented change to our daily activities and the uncertainty ahead is challenging for all of us. The Leadership of the Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church seeks to be transparent and in constant communication with our members during this worldwide crisis. As we continue to live by faith and not fear, we also want to be proactive in helping limit the exposure of the COVID-19 in our area. We will continue to monitor the situation and follow the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines. We will provide regular updates.
1. The custodial staff will continue to make sure our campus is cleaned and sanitized properly.
2. We will practice social distancing.
3. We will have hand sanitizer and gloves available.
4. Temperature will be taken, temperature reading of 100.4 or less is required for entry.
God is speaking. No. God is shouting. A few months ago, none of us could see this coming, but God did. He was not surprised. And now, He is shaking us out of our complacency. He is calling for us to realign our values and our purposes with His.
When you clean a house with not much time to spare, it’s easy to brush the dirt under the sofa or pack things into a closet. But when you have more time, you move the sofa to clean under it. You empty that messy closet. During this time of uncertainty, take the time He has given you to go to Him in prayer, and ask God what hard-to-reach areas of your life need to be refocused on Him.
